Since 1985, The Vista Companies have been involved in the acquisition and/or development of sixty-three commercial properties with a market value of over $500,000,000. Vista has completed several major retail projects and has several more in various stages of development including Vista Greenhouse in Houston, Texas and Vista Stacy Road in McKinney, Texas.
LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is a high-end mixed-use development, located on thirty-four acres on Grand Parkway in the greater Katy area of west Houston. Completed in mid-2018, LaCenterra consists of over 300,000 sq. ft. of national and regional retail tenants and restaurants, including Talbot’s, Chico’s, White House Black Market, Trader Joe’s, and Alamo Draft House, in addition to 130,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space, and 270 residential units.
Honey Creek Marketplace is a 110,000 sq. ft. shopping center located in Terre Haute, IN, anchored by a 62,000 sq. ft. Academy Sports & Outdoors store and a 28,000 sq. ft. Fresh Thyme grocery store. Construction was completed in 2017, and the property is one hundred percent leased and occupied.
University Commons was developed by Vista on thirty acres at U.S. Hwy 59 and University Drive in Sugar Land, Texas. Phase I, which was completed in late 2017, consists of 150,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space anchored by a 50,000 sq. ft. Burlington store and a 20,000 sq. ft. Michael’s. Phase II, which was completed in early 2020, consists of 110,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space anchored by a 30,000 sq. ft. Sprouts Farmers Market and a 10,000 sq. ft. Ulta Beauty.
Vista’s newest completed developments include Inverness Crossing, a 21,000 sq. ft. retail center located on FM 2920, just north of The Grand Parkway in northwest Houston and Forresta Village, a 22,000 sq. ft. retail center at the intersection of Greenhouse and Park Row in west Houston, as well as the acquisition of a two-building portfolio in Clear Lake consisting of 30,000 sq. ft. of retail and medical/professional tenants.
Vista Stacy Road is a 3.99-acre tract located on the NEC of Stacy Rd. & Collin McKinney Parkway in McKinney, Texas. The project will contain 20,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant opportunities as well as two pad site opportunities. Construction on the retail building is slated to begin April 2021.
